Springdale Man Killed in Accident

A Springdale man was killed in a Sunday night when his vehicle rear-ended a Mack truck.

Roberto Soto-Rivera, , was traveling west on Highway 412 in Springdale when the Mack truck in front of him stopped for a traffic light at 56^th Street. Soto-Rivera’s Toyota pickup hit the back of the other vehicle, a police report states.

He was not wearing a seat-belt and died from his injuries, according to the report.

The driver of the Mack truck was not injured.
