Some Lincoln High School students threatened a walkout-protest Tuesday after the superintendent deemed an “I Heart Boobies” phrase on their attire inappropriate.

Several students sported bracelets with the phrase in support of breast cancer awareness.

The students were asked to turn those bracelets inside out when they are at school or a school function, Superintendent Clay Hendrix said.

Hendrix said the students complied.
