Car Runs Into Fayetteville House, 1 Hospitalized

One person was hospitalized after a car crashed into a house late Thursday afternoon in Fayetteville.

Police said a brown Toyota Corolla ran off the street and lodged into the front of a two-story house at 2632 Randal Place near Crossover and Zion roads.

One person was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance without lights or sirens, indicating no serious injuries, according to a Central Emergency Medical Services official.

Fayetteville police and firefighters responded to the call at 4:49 p.m. The Fayetteville Fire Department was working to stabilize the house, said Sgt. Craig Stout with the Fayetteville Police Department.

The Corolla was the only vehicle involved in the wreck. There were no other reported injuries.
