Crawford County dispatchers said strong gusts of wind flipped a tree-cutting truck onto a power line causing more than 700 people to lose power around lunchtime Thursday.

A dispatcher said a man was up in a cherry-picker bucket on Highway 71 North and Cartwright Mountain when a strong wind surge flipped the truck over. The man inside was not hurt.

Dispatchers say two volunteer fire trucks have been sent, county deputies and a state trooper.
