The Climate Prediction Center has issued their winter weather forecast which calls for warmer than normal conditions for the next few months. The forecast is based on a developing El Nino pattern which may or may not develop.
The last two years have been years of extreme with record low and record high amounts of snow.
It may be too early to determine what the winter of 2012-2013 holds.
