Rogers Man Accused Of Assaulting 2 Girls
Police arrested a Rogers man Wednesday they say assaulted and battered two girls.
Gonzalo Areas, 53, was faces one count of felony battery and three counts of felony assault. He remained in the Benton County Jail on Friday awaiting a bond hearing.
Detectives responded to a call from the Arkansas State Police Child Abuse Hotline in reference to two girls, ages 11 and 13, being physically battered. Rogers police investigated the case and arrested Areas, according to the Rogers Police Department.
