Sebastian County Judge David Hudson (R) will keep his job, with Denora Coomer taking the Sebastian County Circuit Clerk race and Sharon Brooks earning a second term as Sebastian County Clerk.

Hudson fought off Democratic challenger Tim Dunn with close to 68% of the vote, while Coomer captured 65% in the Circuit Clerk race and Brooks held 70% in the County Clerk race.

Hudson said it was “encouraging to hear that type of result.”

“I regard serving as County Judge as an honor, and I’ve enjoyed the challenges serving in this office has offered me. I will continue working with the quorum court, city officials, the Chamber of Commerce, and the state to do things for Sebastian County as best we can. Again, I’m humbled and grateful and look forward to continuing to serve,” Hudson added. Click here to read the full story from our partners at
