The A & M Railroad based in Springdale is partnering with Exploring with Happy to offer a Christmas Pajama Train Saturday, Nov. 24.
Much of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child which sends shoe boxes loaded with Christmas presents to kids around the world.
The first train ride Saturday will leave the Van Buren Depot at 11 a.m. and travel to Winslow and back. The second ride will be a shorter but will have some special features.
“Our 6 p.m. excursion leaves from the Fort Smith Trolley Museum and goes to Van Buren, stops on the Arkansas River Bridge and that is where we serve hot chocolate and dinner.”
