A 31-year-old woman was arrested after refusing to leave a neighbor’s porch and then threatening to kill the police officer who arrested her Thursday afternoon in Fayetteville.

Sarah Brack faces charges of terroristic threatening, public intoxication, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Brack was booked into Washington County Detention Center and released on $4,685 bond, according to the sheriff’s website.

A preliminary police report said officers responded to a call about a woman who refused to leave her neighbor’s porch on the 600 block of South Government Avenue in Fayetteville. An officer said when he arrived, Brack had “watery, droopy eyes” with slurred speech and was yelling.

The neighbor asked her again to leave, the report said, but Brack refused and said she was locked out of her apartment, which the report said was around the side of the building and on the second floor. She refused the officer’s command to leave the porch and said the officer would “have to make her.”

The report said Brack began to yell at the officer that she was at her residence. The officer said Brack began to appear aggressive, with clenched fists, before finally putting her hands behind her back at which point she was placed under arrest.

The report said Brack began to resist when she was being walked to the police car, and the officer said Brack had to be pulled into the car feet first with the assistance of another officer. While in the back seat, the officer said Brack yelled that she “will (expletive) kill you.”

The report said Brack repeated the threat several times during the ride to the detention center. The officer said she repeated the threat twice more while being taken to her cell at the detention center.
