Alma Football Coach Resigns
Alma Senior High Football Coach Todd Dilbeck has resigned from the position, the school district announced Monday.
The resignation is effective at the end of the 2012-2013 school year. Coach Dilbeck’s record as Alma’s Head Coach was 35-31-1, according to the school.
“I have truly enjoyed the past six years and I wish the Alma Airedales nothing but the best in the future” said Coach Dilbeck in a statement released from the school district.
The search for a new Head Coach will begin immediately Dr. Mike McSpadden, Assistant Superintendent for the Alma School District, said.
“We appreciate Coach Dilbeck’s hard work, leadership and his dedication to our athletes,” Dr. McSpadden said. “The Alma Airedale football program has great tradition and I am confident that we will have the opportunity to hire an excellent football coach.”
