Arkansas Takes Down Alabama A&M

There was no hangover or holiday let down for the hoop Hogs.

Arkansas raced to a 17-point halftime lead and posted a 95-68 win against Alabama A&M at North Little Rock’s Verizon Arena.

Marshawn Powell led Arkansas (7-4) with 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting while pulling down six rebounds. B.J. Young added 13 points while both Coty Clarke and Jacorey Williams finished with 10 points each off the bench. The Bulldogs were paced by Jeremy Crutcher with 16 points while Demarquelle Tabb added 15.

The Hogs forced 15 turnovers, 12 as result of a steal, and shot better than 51 percent from the field.
