Police arrested a Huntsville man they say was operating an illegal alcohol still.
Daniel Joseph Harvey, 24, faces a felony charge of operating an illicit still. He remains in the custody of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. His bond has not yet been set.
Harvey was booked in jail Thursday.
Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at Harvey’s home. After officers arrived, they searched Harvey’s home and found an illegal alcohol still used for making moonshine liquor in the suspect’s garage, according to the Huntsville Police Department.
Operating an illicit still is a Class D felony.
