Tony Jones has his bags packed and he's already on his way to Washington DC where he'll attend the 2013 Presidential Inauguration. Even though the big day is still three weeks away - Jones thought he'd squeeze in a family visit before his trip to the nation's capitol.

"For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to participate in it and not just watch it from the TV," Jones said. "I want to actually get the first-hand experience so it was like a dream come true."

He's dreamed about the Presidential Inauguration his entire life. It's a dream that will soon come true.

"My ultimate goal is to be president because that's a position where I could really use my influence to help other people," Jones said.

"I always tell people that someday they'll be watching my inauguration," Jones said.

Mom says someday, with his drive and determination, she believes it could really happen.

"He just wants to work his way to the top," Lois Jones, Tony's mother, said. "He wants to run for mayor, governor, representative. The White House is always in focus."

Lois Jones is a proud mother, and a single mom. But she's thankful for the help she's had along the way.

"It's awesome," Lois Jones said. "You know I have a lot of family support, as well as church family, a lot of friends. So it's really been a joy. I thank the Lord every day that I have such an awesome son. He's not given me any trouble. He's always happy."

Mom says she's happy too.

"I have to fight the tears back," Lois Jones said through tears. "I'm proud."

Jones will be attending the inauguration with one of his friends on January 21st. He'll be back home the next day to tell his Mom all about it.
