Meet little Malea!

She welcomed into the world by proud parents Amelia and Jimmy Owen at Washington Regional in Fayetteville at 3:37 a.m. Tuesday, making her the hospital’s first baby of the new year.

Baby Malea weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz. 

As Washington Regional’s first baby of 2013, Malea will receive a number of gifts, including a child safety seat, activity gym, diapers, bath items and a silver engraved cup.
