A Memphis television reporter was arrested on New Year’s Eve after he allegedly “chest bumped” a cop.

WMC-TV reporter Jason Miles, 39, refused to move his news vehicle from a no parking zone on Beale Street while reporting on festivities, according to a report from The Commercial Appeal.

Court documents state Miles called the officer a name, bumped the arresting officer with his chest and tried to resist when officers tried to handcuff him.

He later posted a $100 bond and was released from the Shelby County Jail. Click here to read more.
