Man Injures Face In Rollover Crash On Interstate

A man sustained lacerations to his face Wednesday afternoon after a car ran off Interstate 540 and rolled over near a Springdale exit, according to the Springdale Fire Department.

Emergency crews responded to a call of a one-car rollover wreck with possible injury at about 3 p.m. A red passenger car traveling southbound on the interstate left the roadway and rolled over just north of Exit 72, Sunset Boulevard in Springdale.

The Springdale Fire Department sent an ambulance to the scene to tend to a man complaining of face lacerations. No one was thrown from the vehicle during the crash, and there were apparently no major injuries, authorities said.
