A Springdale man died after being ejected from a vehicle during rollover accident in LeFlore County late Thursday.
Jose Najarro-Valenzuela, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Highway 112 in Cameron just before midnight, according to an accident report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Najarro-Valenzuela was the passenger of a vehicle driven by Eddy Clara, 28, of Springdale. According to the report, the vehicle was eastbound on Highway 112 when it ran off the right side of the road and rolled twice.
Najarro-Valenzuela was ejected through the rear window of the vehicle, the report states.
Clara and another passenger, Marco Gutierrez, 28, of Springdale, were taken by ambulance to local hospitals where they were treated and released for minor injuries.
Only Clara was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Alcohol was a contributing factor in the accident, according to the trooper’s report.
