A hit-and-run accident sent a Springdale pedestrian to the hospital Monday night.

Jeffrey Wright, 26, was walking roadside along Christian Avenue in Springdale when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle, according to the Springdale Police Department.

Wright was rushed to Washington Regional Medical Center, where he has not been assigned a status because he is still in the Emergency Room, according to a hospital supervisor. Wright’s injuries appear to be non-life-threatening, according to police and the Springdale Fire Department.

The vehicle kept going after the crash. It has not been identified, and police have not released a description of the vehicle, although it likely has damage to at least the passenger-side mirror, police said.
