If don't know much about, but are interested in deer hunting, we have the perfect event for you. The Janet Huckabee River Valley Nature Center is offering a free "Deer Hunting 101" course.
The course will be held from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19.
Chad Lowe, with the nature center said during the course you'll learn where the best places to hunt are, types of deer you'll seen in Arkansas, hunting regulations, and even recipes.
Venison dishes will be available at lunch, or if you prefer, bring a sack lunch, according to the event posting.
