Man Arrested for Stealing from OKC Bombing Memorial
A man has been arrested for allegedly stealing from the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum.
Dominic Polk, 39, faces several charges including larceny, littering and assault and battery, according to a report from our sister station KFOR in Oklahoma City.
Police say Polk pocketed necklaces taken from the memorial fence surrounding the museum and site dedicated to the victims of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995.
Officials with the Memorial said, from time to time, people are caught illegally removing items from the fence but rarely does that result in an arrest.
