The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into allegations of possible embezzlement at Roland city offices.

Jessica Brown with the OSBI says they have no suspects at this time and are interviewing employees with access to accounts and people who have made payments to the city. Agents are also sorting through bank records.

City administrator Greg Wilson said the OSBI was asked to investigate to make sure city records are accurate. Wilson could not confirm if any money was missing from city accounts.

The investigation began after the town’s deputy clerk Joetta Hyde resigned from her post. City leaders say she gave no reason for her resignation other than health and her well-being.
