Classes to Resume at Gentry Schools Tuesday After Power Outage

Classes at Gentry Public Schools will convener at the normal time Tuesday, Jan. 22 after a partial power outage forced an early dismissal. 

Superintendent Randy Barrett said schools dismissed at 11 a.m. Monday due to the schools having partial power.

All three schools, the elementary, middle and high school, are all in the same block and are all on the same power source from Empire District Electric.

Empire Electric managed to fix the problem by Monday afternoon.
