Since the Super Bowl is this week, we’re getting in shape football style in this 5NEWS Fit. These exercise moves will help you burn off some of those food fumbles you make at the Super Bowl party Sunday.

Trainer Gabby Mooney with G-Fit shows us some moves she uses in her classes that also prepare players for a big game.

The first move is high knees. Gabby says to try and touch your knees to your hands each time. Do this cardio exercise in one minute intervals. This will also activate your abs.

Next is the burpee with mountain climbers between, which Gabby likes to call the G-up. You can achieve this move by dropping to a squat position with your hands on the ground, popping into a push-up position with your feet apart.  Touch your knees to your arm ten times, also known as the mountain climber. After ten moves, pop up and tuck your knees to your chest at the peak of the jump. Repeat.

Last is the zigzag line drill. You can do this in your driveway or yard. Shuffle from side to side and touch the ground in a squat. You can either work on being quick or focus on the squat to improve your lower body.
