NWS: Tornado Touched Down In Madison County

Damage from storms in northern Madison County on Tuesday (Jan. 29) were caused by an EF-1 tornado, the National Weather Service confirmed Thursday.

This is at least the third tornado to hit the area that day. An EF-2 tornado touched down in Natural Dam In Crawford County damaging several trees.

An EF-1 tornado from the same storm system touched down in Elkins in Washington County causing severe home and property damage.
