Thousands pushed inside the Kay Rodgers Park and Expo center Saturday to buy and sell their guns at the Hanging Judge Gun and Knife Show.
Calls for banning guns have skyrocketed attendance at gun shows across the country. Show promoter Carl Gross with Hanging Judge Productions said this year there are three times as many dealers and tables than in the event's first year.
At the show there is a large selection of Winchester rifles, Colt pistols and antique firearms filling up more than 300 tables, according to the company's website.
Those who attend will be able to buy guns and ammo, trade in firearms or sell them and get them appraised for free.
The show opens at 9 a.m. Sunday and closes at 4 p.m.
Admission is $8 per person, or $7 if you bring a firearm with you. It is free for kids under 12.
Another Gun Show is planned for Oct. 5-6, 2013 by Hanging Judge Productions, according to the company's website.
