Fayetteville Crash Clogs I-540

A wreck in southern Fayetteville has traffic on Interstate 540 backed up.

Emergency crews responded early Tuesday night to a crash involving an unknown number of vehicles in the southbound lanes of the interstate, just north of the Wedington Drive exit, according to Central Emergency Medical Services.

No injuries were reported in the wreck, although the collision has clogged traffic up along that stretch of highway.
