A former Razorback and professional football player was arrested Tuesday in Springdale, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Keith Kidd, 50, was arrested on a warrant for suspicion of contempt of court stemming from failure to pay child support, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He was released later the same day on $10,000 bond.

Kidd was a wide receiver for the University of Arkansas from 1980-1983. He was selected in the ninth round of the 1984 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, and played one game for the team in 1987.
