A day after uncertainty over whether alcohol would be allowed Opening Day of the Razorbacks baseball season, the beer flowed in Baum Stadium, at least in the outfield Hog Pen.
University of Arkansas officials noted Thursday the university’s policy against alcohol on-campus. The sign at the baseball stadium even notes the rule, but it has been a long-standing tradition at the site to allow alcohol in an outfield grass area called the Hog Pen.
A university student newspaper report stated that beer would be prohibited this season at Baum Stadium, but reality Friday showed a different result.
