The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a woman who stole a man’s Dodge truck at gunpoint.

The man told deputies he was driving on Highway 71 S near Treece Road around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, when a woman flagged him down.

Authorities say the man pulled over and rolled down his passenger window to see if the woman needed assistance. That’s when the woman allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded he get out of the truck.

After he got out of the vehicle, the woman then took off southbound on Hwy. 71 in the victim’s 2006 Red Dodge Supercab Truck, according to the sergeant.

The suspect is described as a white woman with waist-length blonde hair.  She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black, possibly leather coat.

The stolen truck has Oklahoma tags as well as a chrome pulley push bar on the front, along with chrome side rails. The reported theft victim also told authorities it has damage to the passenger-side tailgate.

Deputies say the man’s wallet and cell phone were found on the side of the highway. About $300 was missing from the wallet.

If you see this truck or you have any information that may help authorities find the suspect in this case, you’re asked to call River Valley Crimestoppers at (479) 78-CRIME
