CRIMESTOPPERS: Suspect Identified in Purse Theft

Crime Stoppers tips have helped Fort Smith Police identify a woman accused of stealing a purse from a vehicle parked outside Golden Corral and passing at least 18 forged checks at businesses in the area.

Investigators believe the woman pictured in surveillance photos at local stores is 36-year-old Rhonda Lynn Warner.

Warner also goes by the last names “Graham” and “Ross,” according to police. Warner is also being sought by the Arkansas Department of Probation and Parole.

She has ties to the Fort Smith area and various parts of Oklahoma.

A 69-year-old Spiro woman told police the purse was taken from her vehicle on Jan. 25 while she ate at the restaurant. pursetheftgoldencorral

Warner may be driving a white early 2000-model minivan with slight damage to the driver’s side.
