A Fort Smith man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed Saturday afternoon.
Fort Smith police said the man had at least three wounds, possibly more, after being stabbed at about 1 p.m. on the 1400 block of Belle Avenue. Police said the injuries did not appear to be serious but the man was taken to Sparks Medical Center.
A police official said several witnesses were being interviewed, as well as a couple of “possible” suspects.
