Mississippi Native Wins ‘Super Bowl of Fishing,’ $500,000

It was the Super Bowl of fishing. Fishermen from across the entire country pulled their boats to Grand Lake near Tulsa.

The event pulled in nearly 100,000 visitors and and estimated $26 Million in economic impact.

Mississippi native Cliff Pace won the tournament, finishing with a three-day catch total of 54 lbs, 12 oz.

It was his first Bassmaster Classic win. He took home the grand prize of $500,000.
