Police arrested a teenager Tuesday they say assaulted several women who were jogging in Siloam Springs over the last month-and-a-half.

Siloam Springs police said the juvenile is being held at the Benton County Juvenile Detention Center. They are not releasing information about his identity or his arrest at this time, said Capt. Geoff Lewis.

Police said the teenager admitted to the alleged assaults.

Women said they were jogging or walking on a walking trail in Siloam Springs when the suspect came up behind them and grabbed their buttocks or waist area before running off, making sexual remarks, according to police.

Detectives are investigating at least six incidents, but there may be more, according to the Siloam Springs Police Department.

The teenager could face felony assault charges from the incidents.

Police would not release further information about the suspect, but the alleged victims described him as a Hispanic male who looked like he was 15 or 16 years old.
