Part two of our one-on-one interview with Bret Bielema, some of the things that still need to win his heart over about the Fayetteville area:
"The weather, I'm being accused of bringing it in. That's a part that's been shocking. Everyone tells me its a misnomer. It's not really like this all the time. Hopefully that's the case. My wife fell in love with certain areas right away. I think we're close to buying a house."
Q: Close to buying a house? You haven't bought a house yet. What has the two months been like?
"We haven't been in the same house quite a bit lately. We're going to celebrate our one year anniversary next weekend. I've been so busy wrapped up with things. It's been overwhelming."
Q: You have a little dog named Lucy. What's she think of all this?
"She has been great. I didn't think I'd like the thing as much as I do. My wife had always wanted a teacup Yorkie. I didn't think there was any way I'd get attached to the thing. It is a cute little dog and she is very spoiled. She's a nice addition and someone my wife really enjoys company."
Q: And in the two months you've been here you have a solid recruiting class. Everybody wants to know. What happened the 24 hours with Alex Collins? Fans were pulling their hair out.
"That's where you wish you could help fans out. It was actually confirmed on that day we had everything in place. We had the signatures we need to do and we were letting Alex work through the measures that he wanted to go through. As coaches we knew exactly where it was going. We knew every move that was going to happen. It was one of those things as a coach where you sit back and enjoy because not everyone is privy to the same information."
