POLICE: ‘Huge Mess’ Apartment Fight Injures One

One person is injured at an overnight fight at the Oakshire Apartments in Fayetteville, police said.

Wednesday morning, police said they spent hours at the scene after initial reports of gunshots.

Police said they believe three people armed with a tire iron, showed up to argue with a resident of the apartment complex at the corner of Township and Mission.

Police said the call came in just before 12:30 a.m. at 2530 E. Kantz Dr. building A. Three people are in custody being interviewed by investigators to confirm if those shots were really fired.

Police said one injury was reported. Central EMS arrived on scene, but police were not sure if the subject injured was taken to a local hospital.
