Train Collides with Truck in Fort Smith

A train collided with a truck in the 1600 block of Phoenix Avenue Thursday afternoon.

Officers on the scene say a man was driving east on Phoenix when he didn’t see the train coming and crossed the tracks.

The train pushed the vehicle several feet down the tracks before coming to a stop. The man was not injured.
