An early morning single-car crash knocked out power to more than a thousand Alma residents Tuesday morning.

The outage was caused after a driver crashed into a power pole on Rudy Road around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, according Alma Police.

According to OG&E, the outage left 1,157 people without power Tuesday during the peak of the outage.

It’s unclear at this time if anyone was injured in the crash.  Crews cleared the vehicle from the scene shortly after the crash.

OG&E crews worked for hours Tuesday morning to get power back on to Crawford County residents.  Power was restored just before 6:20 a.m. Tuesday.
