Deputies arrested a West Fork man Sunday in connection with 10 area burglaries that took place over a two-month span.

Michael Walter Selby, 23, was arrested on suspicion of 10 counts of residential burglary. Selby confessed to breaking into 10 homes in rural Washington County, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Following a three-month investigation, detectives positively identified stolen property from the burglaries that had been sold and pawned, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives are still investigating the burglaries, and more arrests are expected, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The suspect would take a pillowcase from the homes while stealing jewelry, the Sheriff’s Office stated.
