It may be spring, but it doesn't look like it or feel like it in Northwest Arkansas.

Snow began falling this Thursday and continued to fall for several hours throughout the area. Rain and hail continued through early Friday morning.

Although there wasn't much snow or sleet on the roads some people we talked with are ready for wintery weather to come to an end.

"I thought it's the second day of spring what the heck is going on. I want it to be over with, I don't like this," said Jamie Dell.

Springdale's Carlene Underwood isn't a fan of this non spring like weather but says it's not that unusual. "I remember March of '68 we had 12 inches of snow that year," said Underwood.

Underwood says this kind of weather happens and there's nothing we can do about it.

"Oh mother nature does her own thing. We put up with it," said Underwood.

Jamie Dell is tired of the winter weather and says "I'm ready for summer, ready for the creek and the river and the lake not any of this junk that's going on right now."
