Bentonville’s Jack Kraus Commits To Arkansas

Bentonville tight end Jack Kraus always grew up as an Arkansas football fan. Now he gets to live out his lifelong dream.

Bentonville tight end Jack Kraus always grew up as an Arkansas football fan. Now he gets to live out his lifelong dream. Kraus committed to the Razorbacks Monday night, making him the fourth commit of the 2014 class.

"It's going to be crazy," said Kraus. "It's been a dream for me to play college sports on any level and being able to play at Arkansas, it's going to be incredible. It's SEC competition level."

Kraus stands 6-5, 240 pounds and will be familiar with the coaching staff. His offensive coordinator at Bentonville, Barry Lunney Jr. is now the tight ends coach at Arkansas.

"That previous relationship was really exciting for me to be able to get back with him and work with him again," said Kraus.

Kraus had offers from Illinois and Utah State, but ultimately thought staying in state was the best option.

"There was a little bit of doubt, but I mainly knew in my head I wanted to go to Arkansas," said Kraus. "I just wanted to look around and see if something could chance my mind but besides that, Arkansas was my number one choice."
