An elderly woman who apparently thought her car was in park before it accelerated and slammed into her house was uninjured, officials said.
The incident occurred at 1015 S. 22nd St. just before noon on Wednesday (April 3), officials said.
The driver smashed through the garage and into the living room, said Tom Jenkins, Rogers fire chief.
The fire department shored up the damaged portions of the house to make it safe for re-entry, Jenkins said.
