Rodgers Drive in Fayetteville is closed due to necessary road work Tuesday (April 9.)
It's a race against time, though, because crews are trying to install a drainage pipe before storms roll in.
The issue, where the road slides off at the edge, was caused by heavy rain in the first place.
The city will install the drainage pipe crossing the road that should fix the problem. The road will reopen at 2 p.m.
