According to multiple reports Arkansas forward Hunter Mickelson will transfer away from the Razorback program.

Mickelson had two years of eligibility left and averaged 5.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in 2012-2013.

With Mickelson transferring and BJ Young and Marshawn Powell entering the NBA Draft, Arkansas now has three open scholarships for next season.

Mickelson was part of a 5-man 2011 signing class that was ranked No. 6 by Devonta Abron transferred to TCU. Aaron Ross didn’t make it to campus. BJ Young entered the NBA Draft. Now, Ky Madden is the only remaining commit from that class.
