Several roads in the county have been restored since the Friday morning (April 19) commute, when 21 Benton County roads remained closed.
Surveyors from the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management are expected to be in Benton County assessing the damage.
County Road Department Superintendent Jack Brown went up in a helicopter with emergency managers to see a birds eye view of the hardest hit areas.
All city roads in Bella Vista and Rogers are open. All roads in Bentonville are open, except for Price Coffee Road between Northeast J and Highway 72. Price Coffee Road will remain closed because of a slope failure slide onto the roadway that is unstable.
Peterson Road southeast of Decatur and Georgia Flat Road in Gravette also remain closed. Peterson Road will likely be re-opened early next week, while Georgia Flat could take as many as two weeks to repair, Brown said.
All roads in Washington County, including low-lying Johnson and Springdale are back open.
Friday crews were out in scores cleaning up damage and debris, after heavy overnight rains washed out Benton County Thursday, forcing the county into a state of emergency.
Parts of Benton County got five inches of rain. At the peak of the storm, the county closed 56 different roads because of flash flooding, and eight stranded drivers were rescued from swift water rescue teams in Rogers, Centerton and Gravette.
