Music icon Elton John is set to perform at Walmart’s shareholders event in Fayetteville next month, alongside country music artist Luke Bryan and special guest Ed Sheeran, according to a Walmart spokeswoman.
An associates’ concert with John and Sheeran will open Walmart’s shareholders week June 4 in Fayetteville’s Bud Walton Arena. Bryan is set to perform the next day, with the shareholders meeting kicking off June 7, said Dianna Gee, a Walmart spokeswoman.
A unannounced special guest will also make an appearance that week, but Gee said Walmart would wait to make an announcement.
Tickets will become available to Walmart associates May 15. The general public may begin purchasing tickets May 30.
