For the second straight day the Arkansas Razorbacks’ offense exploded on Tennessee pitching.
Arkansas scored five runs in the first inning and rolled to a 10-2 win in the series finale at Baum Stadium. The Razorbacks outscored Tennessee 21-3 over the final two games of the SEC series.
Jordan Farris delivered the biggest blow as his two-out, three-run double in the first inning started the onslaught.
That was more than enough run support for Randall Fant as the left-hander picked up the win. Fant went 6 1/3 innings while giving up just two hits and striking out five.
Matt Vinson added a solo home run in the sixth while the Razorbacks pounded out 13 hits.
Arkansas (34-17, 17-9 SEC) close out the regular season next weekend with a three-game series at Auburn.
