Tickets for Walmart Employees Available Starting May 15
Every year, Northwest Arkansas turns into a mini-Hollywood when the Walmart Shareholder’s Meeting brings in not just thousands from around the world, but also some of the biggest names in entertainment.
We’ve watched–either in person, online, or on the news–as the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, and the Black Eyed Peas have taken center stage in Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville during the meeting.
Each year, employees (and sometimes the general public) enjoy entertainment through concerts held during the week of the event–last year it was Carrie Underwood, Cheap Trick, and Aerosmith
The whispers of where the stars are staying have prompted teens to stake out at hotels and rumors to swirl.
This year will likely be no different.
Confirmed for 2013:
- Elton John with special guest Ed Sheeran – June 4th
- Luke Bryan-June 7th
The 2013 Shareholders Meeting will kick off June 7th.
Tickets are now available for Walmart associates–as of May 15th. The public can buy tickets starting May 30th. Ticketmaster is one place offering tickets to the public.
An unannounced special guest will also make an appearance that week, Walmart officials say they will wait to make that announcement. We’ll keep you posted.
