Trees were uprooted from Siloam Springs to Pea Ridge.
A house on Pace Lane received major damage as a large tree was uprooted and fell on the home.
According to Fire Department officials the family was inside the home when it fell.
Firefighters were able to the get the family out safe.
"Everybody was okay we've assessed that there's too much structural damage, it's unsafe and we're not going to try and tyake the tree down and were cautioning off the whole house so no one can go back in," said Dino Collins, Pea Ridge Assistant Fire Chief.
Collins told 5NEWS winds reached up to 70 miles per hour.
