Har-Ber coach Chris Wood wanted his team to become more physical during spring practice and he liked what he saw.

"I was pleased with our spring. I thought we became a more physical ball club and that was really our number one goal," Wood said. "I mean when we are leaving spring camp I feel pretty good about the direction we are headed in."

Defensive tackle Josh Frazier draws plenty of attention but he said the team's receivers should considered the real threats.

"We have the three best wide receivers in the state of Arkansas with Gus Vitt and Matt Garrison and Camden Scott," Frazier said. "We have trouble covering them the whole time in spring ball. I mean we had some pretty good stops on them but I think that a dynamic trio right there."

Har-Ber went 7-5 in 2012, which is considered a disappoint for a program that's been highly successful since their first season less than a decade ago.

"Our big goal is going to state but what we really want to accomplish is getting better as a team and just coming together and really creating a family type vibe with the coaches and the players and just working together really well," senior quarterback Kyle Pianalto said.

Har-Ber kicks off the 2013 season on Sept. 6 against Webb City, Mo.
