The Old Fort Days Rodeo kicked off Monday (May 27) with a parade down Fort Smith's Garrison Avenue.

The annual tradition will include hundreds of horses, horse-drawn wagons, and floats.

Korean War era Veteran Bob Cole was the Grand Marshal for the event.

The Old Fort Days Rodeo begins with the world's largest grand entry Monday at 7 p.m.

7:00p.m. – Opening performance of the 80th Annual Old Fort Days Rodeo:

Don’t miss the largest Grand Entry of the week; Wrangler National Patriot Night honoring veterans; Mike Mathis, NFR rodeo announcer; Funny Man and Professional Rodeo Clown, Lecile Harris; bullfighters Clay Collins and Travis Adams; and the rough stock and livestock of J Bar J Inc.; Nightly performances by the Old Fort Days Dandies; Muttin’ Bustin’ and the Lecile Harris Dance contest for youngsters.

$1 from every ticket sold goes to Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House and everyone should wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness. Even contestants will cowboy up and wear pink. Silent auction ends.
